Job Advert We’re looking for a motivated Data Protection Coordinator to join our Legal Services Team and support the Group Data Protection Officer (DPO). In this role, you will help ensure that Torus Group meets its data protection obligations, providing guidance, support, and expertise across the organisation while developing your own skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Working Pattern: This is a hybrid role, offering a mix of office-based and home working.

The team has dedicated office days every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday in our Liverpool office to support collaboration and team engagement.

The role will also require travel across our offices in Liverpool, Warrington, and St Helens, in line with business needs.

Mileage or travel expenses outside of your contractual office base can be reimbursed in accordance with company policy.

What You Will Be Doing

Managing incoming data protection enquiries, correspondence, and calls, providing clear advice and guidance.

Handling Data Subject Rights requests, including data collection, redactions, secure responses, and system updates.

Conducting data searches and coordinating responses to ad hoc data sharing requests.

Maintaining accurate records of data protection incidents and supporting the maintenance of Records of Processing Activities (RoPA). Supporting DPO initiatives, training, and awareness activities across the Group.

Prioritising and managing workloads effectively, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.

Promoting safe, compliant, and secure use of data within Torus Group.

What We Are Looking For

GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths Data Protection qualification (or willingness to work towards one). Administrative experience in a busy office environment Experience managing data protection requests Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Teams Knowledge of eDiscovery tools or OneTrust is desirable.

Strong attention to detail, excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to prioritise tasks and work independently Motivated, resilient, flexible, and committed to continuous improvement.

Interview Process

Candidates will be invited to attend an interview, which will include a competency-based discussion to assess relevant experience, knowledge, and skills for the role.

Interviews will be held at our Liverpool City Centre Office on Thursday 16th April and Friday 17th April 2026.
