A high-profile membership organisation is seeking a commercially astute Relationship Manager to take ownership of key stakeholder engagement and revenue-generating partnerships.
This is a pivotal role sitting at the intersection of relationship management, business development and strategic growth, with responsibility for strengthening senior-level networks and driving income across products, services and sponsorship.
The Role
You will lead on building and managing relationships with senior stakeholders across a complex professional landscape, developing engagement strategies that enhance both value delivery and commercial outcomes.
Approximately 70% of your time will focus on cultivating relationships with senior professionals and organisational leaders, while the remaining 30% will centre on growing a business partnerships and sponsorship programme.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing stakeholder engagement strategies to drive uptake of products and services
- Building and maintaining senior-level relationships to improve insight, sentiment and commercial performance
- Growing revenue through partnerships, sponsorship and membership-related income streams
- Identifying and securing new business partners aligned to strategic objectives
- Leading on sponsorship opportunities across events and programmes
- Collaborating cross-functionally with events, marketing and policy teams to maximise engagement and delivery
- Managing budgets and contributing to income strategy
The Person
You will be a confident relationship-builder with a track record of influencing senior stakeholders and delivering measurable outcomes.
You will bring:
- Proven experience in relationship management, partnerships or business development
- Demonstrable success in driving engagement with products or services
- Experience of generating income through partnerships, sponsorship or similar channels
- Strong commercial acumen, including budget responsibility
- Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- A strategic mindset with the ability to translate insight into action
- Highly organised and self-directed, you will be comfortable managing multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail and delivering against targets.
