Refrigeration Engineer

We’re recruiting an experienced Mobile Commercial Refrigeration Engineer to join an expanding team. In this role, you’ll work across foodservice, hospitality, and food & drink retail environments, carrying out maintenance and repairs on a wide range of chilled and frozen storage and display equipment for a diverse portfolio of blue‑chip clients.

This is a hands‑on, customer‑facing position suited to an engineer who enjoys variety, autonomy, and working with high‑quality commercial refrigeration systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, service, and repair commercial refrigeration systems
• Diagnose faults and carry out effective breakdown repairs
• Ensure all work meets industry regulations and internal safety standards
• Communicate clearly with clients and internal teams regarding work completed and recommendations
• Maintain accurate records and documentation

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• Candidates must hold a current, valid F‑Gas Certificate (Applicants without this will not be considered).
• The ideal applicant will possess 10+ years experience working in the commercial refrigeration sector, specifically within restaurants and hospitality environments but other sectors may be considered.
• Strong understanding of commercial refrigeration systems in the foodservice/retail sector.
• Professional, reliable, and capable of high performance, even during peak summer periods.
• Full UK driving licence
