Construction Manager – Healthcare Projects

Central London & M25

Up to £75,000 + Package

A leading privately owned Tier 1 contractor with a secured London pipeline is looking to appoint a Site Manager to deliver complex healthcare schemes across Central London NHS Trusts.

This contractor has a strong reputation for delivering technically challenging live hospital environments, critical care facilities and specialist medical buildings typically ranging from £15m–£80m in value.

The business offers the stability of a major contractor combined with the culture and flexibility of a family-owned organisation. With a secured forward order book and continued framework wins across healthcare and life sciences, they are expanding their London delivery team.

The Role

You will take responsibility for managing sections of live healthcare construction projects, ensuring safe delivery within operational hospital environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing day-to-day site operations
  • Working within live hospital environments
  • Managing subcontractors and trade packages
  • Driving programme and short-term planning
  • Ensuring compliance with HTM standards and infection control
  • Client liaison with NHS stakeholders
  • Managing quality, H&S and logistics in constrained city centre sites
  • Supporting Senior Site Manager / Project Manager

Requirements

  • Experience working on healthcare or live environment projects
  • Tier 1 / Tier 2 main contractor background preferred
  • Experience on projects £10m+
  • Strong H&S and quality focus
  • SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid
  • Stable employment history
