You’ll work with evolving technologies and integration methods, helping shape how our systems connect and operate across the wider college group.

Role Responsibilities

  • Support and troubleshoot API, automation, and file‑based integrations, to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and reliability.
  • Monitor systems and respond to incidents, contributing to root‑cause analysis and continuous improvement.
  • Create clear, robust documentation for integrations, data flows, and operational processes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external providers to implement improvements and support technical change.

Qualifications

  • Microsoft‑aligned or database‑focused certification (or willingness to work towards one) or equivalent experience.
  • Evidence of continuous professional development in IT, systems engineering, or cyber security.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Hands‑on experience with system integrations, APIs, or data exchange processes.
  • Strong Microsoft SQL administration skills, including troubleshooting and performance optimisation.
  • A solid understanding of secure system management and cyber security best practice.

  • Clear communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly.
  • Experience working in a fast‑paced environment with the ability to prioritise independently.

Desirable Skills & Experience – (Optional)

  • Familiarity with automation platforms or modern scripting tools.
  • Exposure to enterprise‑scale integrations or digital transformation projects.
  • Knowledge of vulnerability management or advanced cyber security principles.
