One Care is seeking an experienced Programme Managerto lead two important areas of work across Bristol, North Somerset and SouthGloucestershire (BNSSG).

In this role, you will oversee the implementation ofimprovements to the ADHD pathway, working closely with the Clinical Lead forNeurodiversity, general practice, AWP and wider system partners. You willcoordinate training, support the rollout of a primarycareled ADHD model, andmanage key programme documentation to ensure delivery against systempriorities.

Alongside this, you will provide nonclinical linemanagement to our GP Clinical Leads, supporting them to deliver highqualityleadership, governance, evaluation and impact across general practice.

We are looking for someone with strong project and programmemanagement skills, excellent communication, and experience working in complexor politically sensitive health environments. You will be confident buildingrelationships at all levels, driving collaborative working, and supportinggeneral practice to influence and shape systemwide change.

Main duties of the job

Leadthe implementation of improvements to the ADHD pathway across BNSSG, includingsupporting a primarycareled model.

Coordinateprogramme activity such as training, pathway development and stakeholderengagement.

Actas a central point of contact for general practice, AWP, system partners andprogramme teams.

Manageprogramme documentation including plans, risks, dashboards and reports.

Providenonclinical line management to GP Clinical Leads, ensuring clear scope,governance and accountability.

Supportthe development of business cases, evaluation data and evidence of impact.

Buildstrong relationships across the system and enable collaborative working.

One Care is the general practice federationrepresenting and supporting practices in Bristol, North Somerset, and SouthGloucestershire (BNSSG). Set up in 2014, we have 69 member generalpractice partnership across the area, which provide healthcare for more than 1million patients.

We support practices with various aspects of runningtheir businesses, including: finance: digital; operations; businessintelligence, and IT.

We work closely with practices to represent andamplify their voices in discussions and decisions about the delivery ofhealthcare in the area, through the GP Collaborative Board (GPCB).

We also support general practice to pilot projects andinitiatives that support innovation and new ways of working, or solvechallenges they face, helping them improve delivery of care to patients.

Finally, we use our general practice expertise to workwith partners from outside the sector or local area. Any funding generated fromthis work goes back into the services we provide for our member practices.

The post will be based at Osprey Court in South Bristol but there may be a requirement to work across the Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire (BNSSG) area.

We have a hybrid working policy which requires staff to work a minimum of 2 days in the office, within general practice or at locations of our system partners.

Job Purpose

This post has a dual purpose:

To programme manage improvements in ADHD diagnosis across BNSSG through implementation of pathway changes, coordination of training, and piloting of new referral routes (0.6 FTE).

In collaboration with the Medical Director of the GPCB and clinical supervisor, provide nonclinical line management to a group of parttime General Practice Clinical Leads (0.4 FTE).

Key responsibilities

ADHD

  • Work alongside the Clinical Lead for Neurodiversity to support the phased implementation of a primary careled ADHD service across BNSSG.
  • Enable general practice to feed into the design, development and mobilisation stages of a model of care that delivers the outcomes of the ADHD objectives, reduces inequalities across the system, and responds to local needs.
  • Develop and implement a general practice programme plan of ADHD priorities.
  • Support GPCB to ensure sufficient resource is available to general practice to deliver the programme plan.
  • Provide a single point of contact for AWP, other BNSSG providers, the system workstream programme team and general practice.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Share information with general practice and secondary care, and ensure engagement.
  • Work effectively with the workstream management team (ICB, Trusts) to develop shared objectives.
  • Scope and define projects and initiatives in support of the workstream plan, including providing information, analytical advice and expertise as required.
  • Contribute to business plans, dashboards, risk logs and other programme documentation to support the achievement of identified workstream outcomes.
  • Produce and present reports requiring the collection, analysis and interpretation of a wide range of data, including differing expert opinions and recommendations.
  • Work collaboratively with the GPCB Medical Director to define the scope and role of the GP Clinical Leads.
  • Provide systematic, robust line management to the GP Clinical Leadership team.
  • Lead the production of highquality, valuedriven evaluation data from the GP Clinical Leadership work.
  • Provide support to follow established governance processes.
  • Provide support in the development of business cases.
