Overview

The role

This role will suit a regular gifts fundraising professional who is motivated to bring in gifts to support outstanding education, research, and student opportunity. Reporting to the Deputy Development Director, you will join a dynamic Development Office team comprised of six other members.

What you will be doing

  • Responsibility for the Alumni Fund, regular giving and associated projects
  • Operational administration and delivery of key areas such as legacies, and special interest groups
  • Building trusted relationships with alumni and donors
  • Strengthening stewardship and gift recognition practices
  • Collating information to build presentations and philanthropic cases for support
  • Enriching alumni engagement through well documented interactions into and out of our CRM (Raiser’s Edge NXT)
  • Working closely with academics and professional colleagues
  • Contributing to a collaborative and supportive team culture

What we are looking for

  • This role is suitable for candidates who can demonstrate:
  • Regular giving and general fundraising experience
  • Telephone campaign and/or Giving Day experience
  • Strong data preparation and analysis skills
  • Query reporting and information presentation skills
  • Organisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver to deadlines under pressure
  • Attention to detail, delivery focused
  • Experience in higher education is welcome but not essential. What matters is your ability to deliver regular giving fundraising with care and integrity.
