Senior Relationship Manager – Technology & Managed Services

Hybrid – 2 days on site (London City)

I am working with an award winning IT MSP who are seeking a Senior Relationship Manager to strategically manage and develop relationships across an established client base.

This is a high-impact role focused on building long-term partnerships, driving account growth, and aligning technology solutions with clients’ wider business strategies.

The Role

As Senior Relationship Manager, you will act as a trusted advisor to clients, developing a deep understanding of their business objectives and technology requirements. You’ll collaborate closely with internal technical teams to shape solution-led roadmaps while identifying new commercial opportunities across accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategically manage and grow relationships within an existing client portfolio
  • Develop client-specific strategies aligned to business and IT roadmaps
  • Identify and track new opportunities across accounts
  • Lead service reviews, roadmap sessions and performance reporting meetings
  • Act as a senior escalation point for client issues
  • Collaborate with technical design teams to build solution-based proposals
  • Contribute to company-wide service improvement initiatives
  • Present value-led solutions and demonstrate ROI where required
  • Negotiate contractual terms, pricing, payment terms and deliverables
  • Maintain accurate records of client data, opportunities and quotes
  • Represent the business at networking and client events (including occasional out-of-hours attendance)

Experience & Skills Required

  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a similar Account Management / Client Development role
  • Proven background in a consultative, solutions-led environment
  • Strong understanding of technology infrastructure, including: Azure Cloud, Office 365, Microsoft suite, Cyber Security standards and platforms & Core Infrastructure and associated management
  • Ability to identify and progress commercial opportunities
  • Excellent active listening and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Confident communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including VP and C-Level professionals
  • Strong organisational and multitasking ability with minimal supervision
  • Prior experience within the financial services sector and knowledge of regulatory standards (desirable)
