As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will work closely with mutli-disciplinary teams to ensure clients receive holistic and person-centric care with tailored treatment plans based on the recovery model. This role specialises in Eating Disorders however the client is willing to sponsor training if not specialised.
Assume clinical responsibility for patients, including leading multidisciplinary ward rounds, undertaking comprehensive risk and strategic reviews, and promoting a therapeutic environment. Fulfil the duties of Responsible Clinician for patients detained under the Mental Health Act (1983). Support and deliver internal training initiatives, offering clinical supervision to members of the multidisciplinary team, with a particular focus on junior medical staff….
