  • At Sedulo we embrace a holistic and innovative culture with diversity and integrity at the heart. We are working to build an open and inclusive environment which supports the needs of all our team members.

We are looking for people to join the team who want to deliver beyond expectation and get results. Whether this be through embracing feedback, creating fulfilling relationships with colleagues and clients by being the best version of themselves. At Sedulo, we know how important it is to create an environment for positive change, both in work and in the communities, we work within. This is demonstrated through our persistent commitment to charitable projects and a strong focus on innovation in everything that we do. The Role

We’re hiring a frontend-leaning engineer to help build and evolve the Perygon platform. This is a hands‑on product engineering role for someone with strong frontend instincts, a sharp eye for UX, and the ability to contribute across the stack when needed.

You’ll spend most of your time building high‑quality product experiences in Next.js, React, and TypeScript, while also when required contributing to our NestJS backend services, APIs, and integrations. We’re looking for someone with at least 2 years of commercial experience, a strong portfolio of shipped work, and good product judgement

Responsibilities

  • Build polished, responsive, user‑focused features in Next.js, React, and TypeScript
  • Turn product requirements and UX ideas into clean, production‑ready interfaces
  • Contribute to backend development in NestJS, including APIs, business logic, and service integrations
  • Work across frontend and backend boundaries to deliver features end to end
  • Improve shared UI patterns, component structure, and design consistency
  • Collaborate with product, design, and engineering to refine requirements and shape solutions
  • Participate in sprint planning, standups, estimation, retrospectives, and technical discussions
  • Write maintainable, well‑tested code and contribute to code reviews
  • Help modernise and migrate functionality from legacy Laravel services into the newer NestJS platform
  • Improve performance, accessibility, reliability, and overall product quality

Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required

  • Strong frontend skills with React, Next.js, and TypeScript
  • Strong UX instincts and attention to detail
  • Experience with theming using modern CSS‑in‑JS approaches, such as Chakra UI 3 or similar
  • Proven track record of delivering high‑quality interfaces in real products
  • Strong portfolio showcasing shipped work, previous products, or well‑presented case studies
  • Experience building responsive, accessible, and well‑structured user interfaces
  • Experience integrating frontend applications with REST APIs and backend services
  • Good understanding of component‑based architecture, state management, and frontend performance
  • Comfortable working in agile teams and contributing to technical discussions, planning, and delivery
  • Strong communication skills and a pragmatic, collaborative approach to problem‑solving
  • Thoughtful use of LLMs to improve productivity and delivery
