Quality Inspector
Working Days: Monday – Friday Job Type: Permanent Location: Wokingham
About the Role
We’re seeking a proactive Quality Inspector to join a growing operation in Wokingham. In this key role, you’ll ensure all materials meet defined specifications, contributing directly to the quality and reliability of products delivered to customers. You’ll work closely with engineering and quality teams on-site, supporting continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining high inspection standards.
Key Responsibilities of the Quality Inspector
- Inspect all incoming materials for conformance to drawings, specifications, and instructions
- Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) on new part submissions
- Record all inspection results in the relevant systems
- Assist in resolving material conformance issues
Experience Required
- Minimum 1 year in quality control inspection (preferred)
Preferred Skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
- Experience using basic inspection tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges)
- Exposure to lean manufacturing principles
- Strong communication skills—both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently with a proactive approach
