We are looking for someone to coordinate change projects in our Acute & Crisis clinical services. This post will suit someone with experience in NHS, older people services, community or acute mental health services, accommodation or care home pathways. The role is for a fixed term ending 31st March 2027.
Responsibilities
- Support the project management and implementation of upcoming changes to services within the Directorate.
- Work closely with clinicians, financial accountants, human resources, business office, continuous improvement team, operational leaders and stakeholders across South East London.
- Ensure a sound project and programme management approach underpins all activities.
- Travel to Oxleas sites as needed across Bexley, Bromley & Greenwich.
- Provide monthly reports for project boards and senior leaders on delivery of specific programmes.
- Monitor delivery of key projects to ensure measures and aims are met, and recommend solutions to issues and challenges.
- Identify and prioritise issues or risks and escalates to the Director as appropriate.
Qualifications and Experience
- Educated to postgraduate master’s level or equivalent experience.
- Continuous improvement qualification (Lean, QSIR, Six‑Sigma, MFI or other).
- Project management or change management qualification or equivalent experience.
- Experience applying continuous improvement methodology at multiple levels within an organisation.
- Experience working within the NHS, especially in older people, community or acute mental health.
Personal qualities
- Proactive, confident communicator who can organise and present information clearly.
- Ability to communicate with health, social care and commissioning sectors.
- Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills.
