The Opportunity
This is a fantastic opportunity for a laboratory professional looking to step into a supervisory‑level position within a structured, quality‑driven environment. You’ll initially join as a Quality Control Chemist, with a clear progression plan to QC/QA Supervisor once established in the role. You’ll play a key part in ensuring products meet required specifications while supporting compliance, audit readiness, and continuous improvement across quality systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct day‑to‑day testing of raw materials, in‑process samples, and finished products.
- Work closely with manufacturing to investigate non‑conformances and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate documentation, records, and SOP updates.
- Support internal and external audits (ISO, REACH, customer audits).
- Oversee calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
- Assist with regulatory compliance activities, particularly ISO 9001.
- Develop detailed quality procedures to ensure operational continuity.
- Conduct or coordinate internal audits and lead when required.
- Deliver staff training and promote quality awareness.
- Review and support potential implementation of Statistical Process Control (SPC).
