Job Description:

Join DCTUK, the flooring disruptors flipping the industry on its head for clients like Netflix, Starbucks, and the NHS. We are seeking an experienced, high-energy closer with at least 3 years of sales experience to join our London showroom team. This is a dynamic, hybrid-style role where you will drive results through proactive calling while serving as the professional face of the brand for customers visiting our showroom in person.

Beyond the phones, you will dedicate 20% of your time to social selling—using LinkedIn to connect with decision-makers and appearing in our YouTube and TikTok content to keep our brand at the forefront of the industry. We offer a starting salary of £30k–£35k (DOE) with uncapped bonuses that see our top performers taking home over £4k a month before tax, alongside fast-track progression into leadership or contract management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactive Sales & Prospecting: Execute daily inbound and outbound calls to new and existing customers, turning cold and warm conversations into high-value opportunities.
  • Showroom Management: Provide expert, face-to-face consultations for customers visiting our London location, ensuring a premium brand experience.
  • Social Selling: Spend approximately 20% of your week on LinkedIn, proactively connecting with key stakeholders and posting engaging professional content.
  • Field Visits: Occasionally visit customers on-site at their projects or offices to present our portfolio of products and provide hands‑on expert advice.
  • Content Creation: Collaborate with the marketing team by appearing in weekly YouTube videos, TikToks, and other digital content to drive brand engagement.
  • Account Nurturing: Utilise WhatsApp, video, and email to maintain long‑term relationships and ensure accounts remain loyal to DCTUK.
  • Pipeline Organisation: Meticulously manage your sales pipeline to ensure no lead or follow‑up slips through the cracks.
  • Customer Research: Display genuine curiosity by researching clients and their projects to provide tailored, insightful flooring solutions.

Key Skills & Requirements

  • Sales Experience: A minimum of 3 years in a target-driven sales environment with a proven track record of closing deals.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; you must have the “gift of gab” and be comfortable engaging with people both on the phone and in person.
  • Digital Proficiency: Must be an active and proficient LinkedIn user. Experience using social media for lead generation is essential.
  • Camera Confidence: Naturally comfortable being on camera and willing to participate in creative video marketing.
  • Resilience: A thick skin and the ability to handle knockbacks with a positive, persistent attitude.
  • Growth Mindset: Coachable, hungry to grow, and eager to master the technical side of the flooring industry.
  • Organisation: Strong time-management skills with the ability to balance phone work, showroom walk-ins, and social media tasks.
