Location: East CroydonHours: 37.5 per week (9:00am – 5:30pm) – Hybrid working available (2 days from home, 3 days office)Salary: Competitive
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Own Brand product development, quality and supplier base across assigned categories.
- Deliver NPD plans, providing technical expertise throughout the new product development process.
- Ensure pre‑ and post‑launch product compliance and supplier compliance with ASW Guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Deliver technical elements of the New Product Development process and ensure budget/cost and timescale targets are met.
- Act as technical expert, source information, standards and legal requirements across categories.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with technical innovation to develop market‑leading products.
- Conduct store and supplier visits.
- Manage a small team of quality control specialists.
Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent in Cosmetic Science.
- 8+ years experience in Cosmetics & Toiletries.
- Experience in a fast‑paced commercial environment.
- Commercial acumen.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to prioritise work, meet deadlines and work independently.
- Team player, resilient, problem‑solving ability.
- Experience managing and coaching junior staff (advantage).
- Healthcare experience (advantage).
