Based at Wedderburn House and flexibly across other locations, you will work full time, 37 hours per week. You will have a degree in Social Work, CQSW, Dip SW, CSS (with appropriate option). You will assist in maintaining vulnerable people in the community by providing a range of care and risk management tasks. These include the assessment of individual need, the negotiation of flexible packages of care, and the monitoring and reviewing of individual care packages. You will have working knowledge and experience of risk and needs assessments, experience and knowledge of Adult Support & Protection Procedures, interest in working with adults who suffer from severe and enduring mental illness and sound knowledge of community care services. You will have good communication skills – verbal/written, the ability to assess needs of adults with mental health difficulties and the ability to prioritise workloads and meet challenges and deadlines. You will have the ability to register with Scottish Social Services Council within specified timescale.
