Position

As an Area Manager you will build and lead a professional, high‑performing team of remote based Wardens, laying the foundation for long‑term success. We are seeking a dynamic leader with a strategic mindset and exceptional people management skills to help drive our growth and success. As an experienced and driven manager, you will be able to lead the way in delivering exceptional service to our clients while ensuring operational excellence.

This team covers sites in Berkshire, Hampshire, Dorset, Somerset, Devon and Cornwall.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Support your team to ensure company/regional KPI targets are being consistently achieved.
  • Use data to drive performance and track trends in performance.
  • Be able to manage a range of HR related issues such as poor performance, absence management, recruitment, 1‑2‑1s, appraisals, induction, training etc.
  • To develop and continually improve the quality and resilience of the service provided.
  • To implement measures and controls to ensure that the quality of PCN’s issued is of the highest level.
  • To produce and communicate performance data on a regular basis.
  • Work with the National Operations Manager to ensure the delivery of key strategic objectives.
  • Ensure that exceptional customer service is being maintained for both our customers and clients.
  • Ensure that all team members are adhering to company policies and procedures and working in line with Health and Safety, BPA and IPC regulations.
  • To identify control risks, ensure that any near‑miss incidents, accidents or health and safety issues are reported to Operations Manager and regional managers in an accurate and timely manner.

  • An experienced people manager, who is confident in dealing with most aspects of HR.
  • A DBS check will be required of the successful applicant due to the nature of some client sites within the area.
  • Be happy travelling across with the regional area of Berkshire, Hampshire, Dorset, Somerset, Devon and Cornwall.

The Shifts

You will work 50 hours in a 7‑day period on a rota basis, providing on call cover when needed. Weekends availability is required as this is a busy time. All shifts will part of your rota, so full flexibility is required.

The Pay

The salary is £36,500 per annum. You will also have the ability to earn bonus through Warden issued and paid PCNs. A car allowance or company car is also part of the benefits package.
