A well-established, highly regarded independent Manchester law firm is looking to recruit a Commercial Property Solicitor to join its busy Landlord and Tenant team.
The firm has a strong reputation in the regional market and acts for a broad range of commercial clients including landlords, developers, investors and corporate occupiers. It is known for delivering commercially focused advice and maintaining long-standing client relationships.
The Role
You will join an experienced and collaborative team advising on a varied caseload of landlord and tenant matters.
The role will involve:
- Acting for landlords and tenants on the grant of new leases
- Lease renewals and regears
- Assignments, sublettings and licences to alter
- Portfolio management work
- Supporting on acquisitions and disposals with a strong asset management focus
- Providing strategic, commercially minded advice to clients
You will have responsibility for your own files while also working closely with senior lawyers on more complex transactions.
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales
- 3+ years’ PQE in Commercial Property
- Strong landlord and tenant experience
- Comfortable managing matters with minimal supervision
- Commercially aware with strong client care skills
- Keen to get involved in business development
