Responsibilities
We are seeking an well-motivated, compassionate individual with lived experience of mental ill health within old age psychiatry, either through own personal experience or through a caring role.
Your function would be to educate medical students from Nottingham University using your lived experience as a tool to aid understanding that cannot be found in books.
Lived experience is a vital element of our medical education programme which we actively promote and support. Contribute to the development and delivery of the ‘Lived Experience’ learning across the undergraduate and graduate entry medical student training programme in Derby & Chesterfield with a friendly and caring approach.
Support in further development and delivery of the expert patient programme in Derby & Chesterfield. Work with educational/training leads to further develop the experiential learning training programme involving expert patients.
