We’re supporting a major UK organisation as they continue to mature their Salesforce capability. They’re looking for a Principal‑level technical authority – someone who owns the overarching platform strategy, defines the engineering direction, and ensures Salesforce is delivered in a scalable, secure, and future‑proof way.
This is not a project‑by‑project Solution Architect role. This is a true platform‑level position.
What you’ll be doing
- Leading the enterprise‑wide Salesforce platform architecture, standards, and long‑term technical roadmap
- Defining architectural guardrails, reusable patterns, and engineering best practice across multiple delivery teams
- Acting as the Principal Engineer for the Salesforce estate, setting technical direction and influencing how the platform evolves
- Driving multi‑cloud architecture across Sales, Service, Experience, CPQ/Revenue, Field Service, and more
- Establishing a governance model, ensuring consistency, security, and stability across a complex org
- Partnering with product, engineering, and senior stakeholders to shape an aligned, scalable platform strategy
- Acting as the platform’s technical authority, with a voice that genuinely shapes decision‑making and investment
