Azure Cloud Architect (EUC)

Azure Cloud Architect / London (Hybrid) / 12 months / £600-£650pd (Inside IR35)

I am currently supporting a consultancy client of ours to recruit an Azure Cloud Architect to join them on an initial 12 month contract. This role can be completed on a hybrid basis, with occasional office visits to London when required.

Skills & experience needed:

• Strong hands‑on expertise in Microsoft Azure across networking, compute, storage, and integration services
• Skilled in designing secure Azure network architectures: VNets, ExpressRoute/VPN, firewalls, load balancers, DNS, routing
• Experience delivering scalable compute solutions: VMs, VM scale sets, AKS, App Services, serverless patterns
• Proficient with Azure storage technologies: Blob, File, Disk, plus backup and DR/resilience patterns
• Deep knowledge of API integration, messaging, and event‑driven architectures
• Advanced Identity & Access Management capability: Entra ID/Azure AD, RBAC, Conditional Access, Privileged Access
• Proven track record designing and implementing large‑scale, resilient cloud architectures for complex programmes

We are looking to get someone started within the next 2‑4 weeks, so ideally you will be available within a maximum of 1 week notice.
