In this role, based in our London office, you will be working with clients focused on UK institutional affairs.

Day to day responsibilities

Our Policy Analysts are responsible for:

  • Supporting the delivery of client projects and maintaining client relationships
  • Researching and analysing policy issues
  • Producing written briefings on political and regulatory issues
  • Attending and reporting on conferences and webinars and meetings with UK decision-makers
  • Assisting with presentations and marketing content, including white papers and blogs
  • Producing newsletters for clients on regulatory and market developments

Additionally, you will be expected to contribute to:

  • Creating and executing public-affairs programmes
  • Developing new business, including through marketing ideas or other initiatives

Who should apply

Applicants for the Policy Analyst position should possess the following:

  • A strong interest in UK tech regulation and policy
  • Demonstrable knowledge of UK digital/tech policy and UK decision-making
  • An excellent academic record, to at least master’s-degree level
  • Superior written and oral English communication skills
  • The ability to multi-task and manage multiple deadlines, often at short notice
  • Advanced ability with Microsoft Office applications (particularly Word and PowerPoint)
  • A commitment to consistently produce work of the highest quality
  • Integrity, honesty and a willingness to work hard
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK

The following characteristics, while not essential, will also be favourably considered:

  • Strong network connections in the UK political and regulatory community
  • The ability to build relationships with current and prospective clients
  • A creative flair, in particular an ability to present information in a visually appealing manner for clients
  • European language skills in addition to English
