Position: Procurement Manager

Location: Dundee

Work mode: Hybrid

Contract: Full Time/Permanent

Morgan Hunt are delighted to be partnering with a public sector organisation in Dundee who are looking for a new procurement specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end procurement activities including tendering, evaluation, and award processes.
• Manage supplier and contract performance across assigned categories.
• Conduct commercial and price negotiations to secure best value.
• Maintain up-to-date market and supplier intelligence.
• Promote compliance with procurement strategy, policy, and ethical standards.
• Advise stakeholders on procurement best practice and risk management.
• Collaborate with colleagues and senior stakeholders to deliver strategic procurement outcomes.
• Ideally be CIPS qualified.
• Proven record of procurement achievement within public or private sector environments.
• Strong commercial acumen, analytical skills, and negotiation capability.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Experience in leading or mentoring within a procurement function.
