Responsibilities
TikTok’s Agency Partnerships Team builds long‑term strategic partnerships with top agencies and brands across the UK, educating and informing them about commercial opportunities within TikTok. The Agency Partnership Lead sets the strategy for the Independent Agency team, driving revenue growth, product adoption, and a meaningful partnership plan to elevate TikTok as a Tier‑1 Agency Partner for independent agencies in the UK.
Leadership & Team Development
- Build a High‑Performance Culture: recruit, develop, and inspire a team of Agency Partner Managers; foster an inclusive environment that prioritises diversity and aligns with our core cultural values.
- Strategic Direction: partner with Agency Solution Lead to design and implement a sales strategy that drives sustained revenue growth across the UK Independent Agency landscape.
- Cross‑Functional Ambassadorship: act as the voice of indie agencies internally, collaborating with Product, Marketing, Legal, and Engineering to remove friction and scale opportunities.
Commercial & Technical Growth
- Onboard & Activate: drive the strategy for new account activations, ensuring a seamless transition for brands moving onto the platform.
- Signal Excellence: lead the charge on improving the quality of signal integrations (e.g., eAPI, Pixel). Ensure agencies are technically equipped to measure and optimise for success.
- Operational Hygiene: raise the bar for account hygiene, ensuring accounts are structured for peak performance, following best practices in bidding, creative diversification, and measurement.
- C‑Suite Partnerships: establish and nurture deep relationships with indie agency leadership, driving long‑term Joint Business Plans (JBPs) and closing complex agency deals.
- Ecosystem Innovation: support agencies in developing new revenue streams through our ecosystem partnerships, including TikTok Shops and Creator‑led services.
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience in digital advertising, with a proven track record of exceeding revenue targets in a fast‑paced environment.
- Leadership: demonstrated ability to build, lead, and mentor high‑performing sales or partnership teams.
- Market Knowledge: deep understanding of the UK Independent Agency landscape and the unique challenges/opportunities within this sector.
- Communication: exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence C‑suite decision‑makers.
- Customer Centricity: strong client‑facing skills with a commitment to providing the highest level of service.
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical Literacy: experience with tech/signal integrations and an understanding of how data signals impact performance marketing.
- App Monetisation: familiarity with the app‑install and mobile‑first ecosystem.
- Operational Rigor: detail‑oriented with a passion for “account hygiene” and organisational excellence.
- Entrepreneurial Spirit: a self‑starter who thrives in a “start‑up” environment within a global organisation.
