ThisroleisdesignedforanambitiousindividualeagertodeveloptheirexpertiseinHealth&Safetymanagement.
Assistintheimplementationandcontinuousimprovementofthecompany’sHealth&SafetyManagementSystem.
Ensureadherencetocompanyhealthandsafetypolicies,procedures,andstandards.
SupportthedevelopmentandreviewofnewH&Spoliciesandproceduresasrequired.
Monitorchangesinhealthandsafetylegislationandadvisemanagementonnecessaryadjustmentstoensureongoingcompliance.
Managetheprocessofconductingandreviewingriskassessments(general,specific,andCOSHH).
Implementandmonitorcontrolmeasurestomitigateidentifiedrisks.
Leadtheinvestigationofallincidents,accidents,andnearmisses,identifyingrootcausesandrecommendingcorrectiveandpreventativeactions.
Ensuretimelyandaccuratereportingofincidentstorelevantinternalstakeholdersandexternalregulatorybodies(e.g.,HSE,OSHA)asrequired.
Analyseincidentdatatoidentifytrendsandinformproactivesafetyinitiatives.
Developanddeliverengaginghealthandsafetytrainingprogramsforalllevelsofemployees,includinginductions,specifichazardtraining,andrefreshercourses.
Ensureallemployeesreceiveappropriatehealthandsafetyinformationandtrainingrelevanttotheirroles.
Promoteastrongsafetyculturethroughregularcommunicationcampaignsandawarenessinitiatives.
Conductregular,systematicworkplaceinspectionsandauditstoidentifyhazards,assesscompliance,andmonitortheeffectivenessofsafetycontrols.
Preparedetailedauditreportswithactionablerecommendationsandtracktheirimplementation.
Actasaprimarypointofcontactforhealthandsafetyqueriesfromemployeesandmanagers.
Collaboratewithdepartmentheads,linemanagers,andemployeerepresentativestoembedsafetypracticeswithinoperationalactivities.
Liaisewithexternalbodiessuchasregulatoryauthorities,insurers,andexternalconsultantsasneeded.
Collect,analyse,andreportonkeyhealthandsafetyperformanceindicators(KPIs).
PrepareregularH&Sperformancereportsforseniormanagement,highlightingachievements,challenges,andrecommendations.
Qualifications:
- Degreeeducatedorworkingtowards-OccupationalHealth&Safety/EnvironmentalHealth
- NEBOSH/IOSHorequivalent
- Provenabilitytoconductriskassessments
- Excellentcommunicationandpresentationskills
