Commercial Property Solicitor — Position Overview:
You will manage a varied commercial property caseload while working within a growing and supportive team. The role offers a high level of autonomy and encourages active participation in business development and client relationship building.
Key Responsibilities of the Commercial Property Solicitor:
- Advising on general landlord and tenant matters including leases, underleases, licences and surrenders
- Handling acquisitions and disposals of freehold and leasehold property
- Drafting option agreements, overage clauses and TOGC documentation
- Advising on expired commercial leases including periodic tenancies, trespassers and mesne profits
- Preparing title reports and advising on risk and mitigation strategies
- Managing auction sales and purchases
- Handling matters involving unregistered land
- Providing corporate support on property elements of transactions
Requirements of the Commercial Property Solicitor:
- Qualified Solicitor with 4–6 years’ PQE in Commercial Property
- Strong technical knowledge of landlord and tenant and property transactions
- Ability to manage matters independently with minimal supervision
- Commercially aware with excellent organisational skills
- Strong communication and client relationship skills
- Interest in business development and networking
