We are pleased to announce an opportunity to join our digital leadership team as the Trust’s Clinical Professional Information Officer (CPIO) for Psychology and Psychotherapy. This senior role is central to delivering our refreshed digital strategy and strengthening digitally enabled care across clinical services.

Reporting to the Chief Clinical Information Officer (CCIO), the CPIO will work closely with Professional Leads to enhance digital culture, capability, and engagement across the organisation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide professional digital leadership across the Trust.
  • Chair digital meetings and workstreams.
  • Lead major digital transformation programmes.
  • Support teams in optimising digital workflows and clinical information systems.
  • Champion innovation to improve patient outcomes and staff experience.

Additional responsibilities

  • Guide informatics‑driven change programs, focusing on safe, effective, and patient‑centric services.
  • Partner with clinicians to integrate clinical practice changes, prioritizing patient safety.
  • Offer expertise on digital health technology adoption and workforce digitization.
  • Promote a digital culture in clinical practice to enhance decision‑making and care standardization.
  • Govern healthcare technology use with robust risk management processes.
  • Contribute to national Health Informatics development and mentor in clinical informatics.
  • Engage in the design and evaluation of clinical informatics systems, driving innovation and continuous improvement.
