Legal AssistantFull Time, Monday to Friday£30,000 – £35,000Bidford-on-Avon (Office Based) Pertemps are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly regarded legal practice for an experienced Legal Assistant to join their busy team. This is a varied and hands-on role supporting across residential conveyancing, commercial matters and private client work. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the legal team with the smooth progression of cases from instruction through to completion. This position requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work within a structured, compliance-driven environment. Key ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive support across residential conveyancing matters including sales, purchases, transfers of equity, Help to Buy, mortgages, equity release and auctionsAssist with commercial property work including leases, sales and purchase agreementsSupport private client work including wills and lasting powers of attorneyTranscribe digital dictation and prepare legal documents, correspondence and reportsPrepare and issue fee estimates to clientsOpen new files, complete client onboarding documentation and carry out AML checksOrder searches and manage transaction documentationPrepare invoices, completion statements and financial documentationLiaise with clients, estate agents and financial advisors, providing regular updates on transactionsPrepare files for exchange and completion, including pre-completion checksManage diaries, appointments and key deadlines for the teamUse case management systems to maintain accurate records and progress casesAssist with file closures, ensuring all documentation is completed and stored correctlyProvide support across the wider office and cover for colleagues as requiredSkills and ExperiencePrevious experience as a Legal Assistant within conveyancing or a multi-discipline legal environmentStrong understanding of conveyancing processes and legal administrationExperience carrying out AML checks and working within compliance frameworksConfident in liaising with clients and third parties in a professional mannerExcellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesHigh attention to detail and accuracyExperience using case management systemsProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)To apply, click ‘APPLY’ with your up-to-date CV, or send your CV directly to ….
