Operations Support Manager
Location: Broughton, Chester, CH4Pay: £39,802.30 per annumHours: 42 hours per week (Monday – Friday)
As an Operations Support Manager at Securitas, you will support day‑to‑day operations while elevating service delivery, protecting people, and building lasting trust. In a safety‑critical aerospace and defence contract you will oversee site security operations, support investigations and disciplinary actions, and act as the first point of contact for employee queries.
By managing SLAs and KPIs you will drive performance, support the operational teams, and ensure contractual commitments are consistently met. This role is a key opportunity to be recognised, valued, and empowered to progress in a career that values safety, professionalism and purpose.
Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for operational employee queries.
- Update and maintain customer information as required.
- Ensure all rostering is accurate to minimise pay queries and dropped shifts, and that accurate invoices are produced and dispatched within required timescales.
- Maintain staff HR records and personnel files for the contract as required.
- Take detailed notes on any issues including investigations, disciplinary actions, capability and performance matters, ensuring company policies and procedures are adhered to.
- Manage direct and indirect costs to ensure they meet contract requirements, including recruitment, training and expenses.
- Ensure accuracy of all operational data, regularly review and report on progress, highlight risks of significant variances and take action where needed.
- Support the contract with preparation of audit and compliance reporting.
- Assist with recruitment and succession planning to ensure the contract can deliver consistent high levels of service and contingency.
- Ensure all staff and officers in the contract comply with Securitas policies, procedures and relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in development of the contract through involvement in strategic initiatives and projects.
- Carry out reasonable requests from the contract, client and senior management team, including support during emergency and unusual situations.

Qualifications
- Right to work in the UK with a 5‑year checkable history.
- Valid SIA Licence (Security Industry Authority licence).
- Full, valid UK manual driving licence.
- Proactive & detail‑oriented; self‑motivated with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent organisational, customer service and communication skills.
- Good standard IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to work under pressure and on own initiative.
- Experience using rostering systems such as Timegate.
- Previous experience within the security industry.
Additional safety and security clearances required: Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) and Security Check (SC) clearance.
