Job Description

In this role, you will sit within ib vogt’s Asset Management team in Europe and support overseeing and managing day‑to‑day operations of renewable energy projects. You will contribute to ensuring that important milestones and tasks required for a project’s successful construction, commissioning, and operation are achieved, and that the project’s compliance with key documents such as permits or EPC agreements is maintained. This position will involve working with projects from the construction stage through to the operational phase, balancing technical and operational topics while engaging with internal and external stakeholders such as EPC and O&M contractors, authorities, or grid operators. Key requirement for this role is to be pragmatic and solution‑oriented.

Key Tasks

  • Support the management of and ensure the projects’ compliance with key project documents such as permits or EPC agreements.
  • Support technical management tasks related to construction monitoring, inspections, claims management (e.g., insurance or warranty claims), grid connection, or PPA agreements.
  • Support administrative tasks such as invoice checking and approvals and reporting.
  • Work with and support projects’ external advisors.
  • Ensure a proper handover between development and asset management teams.
  • Oversee the day‑to‑day operations of renewable energy assets.
  • Support specific tasks such as outstanding accreditations.

Ideal Candidate Must Have

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
  • At least 3 years of experience in renewable energy (development, EPC, O&M or asset management) with a technical background (e.g., construction or engineering).
  • Willingness to travel from time to time.
  • Microsoft Office skills.
  • Fluency in English.

Nice‑to‑have

  • Legal or finance skills.
  • Additional language skills, preferably Finnish.
