Location: Watford Working Hours: 07:00 – 16:30 Salary: £14 per hour

Are you an experienced 3.5-ton driver with a background in warehouse operations?Interaction is recruiting on behalf of a well-established food wholesaler in Watford for a hybrid 3.5-ton driver/warehouse operative position. This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and hardworking individual to join a dynamic and growing business.

About the Role:

As a 3.5-Ton Driver/Warehouse Operative, you will be working in a hybrid capacity. Your responsibilities will include both driving and warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient delivery of goods and smooth running of warehouse activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Driving:
    • Operate a 3.5-ton vehicle to deliver food products to various locations.
    • Ensure deliveries are completed accurately and on time.
    • Perform daily vehicle checks and ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the vehicle.
  • Warehouse Duties:
    • Assist in stock management, picking, packing, and loading/unloading goods.
    • Contribute to the smooth operation of the warehouse, ensuring a tidy and efficient working environment.
    • Assist with inventory checks and stock rotation.

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving license (Category B for 3.5-ton vehicles).
  • Proven experience in driving 3.5-ton vehicles.
  • Previous warehouse experience (manual handling, picking, and packing).
  • Excellent attention to detail and a proactive work ethic.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and independently.
  • Good communication skills.

What’s on Offer:

  • Hourly Rate: £14 per hour.
  • Working Hours: 07:00 – 16:30, Monday to Friday.
