What You’ll Be Working On:️ Conducting digital forensics investigations on compromised systems, networks, and devices to gather evidence️ Performing analysis of log files, system images, and volatile data to determine the cause and impact of security incidents️ Working closely with law enforcement or internal teams to preserve and document evidence for legal and compliance purposes️ Developing and maintaining forensic tools and methodologies for evidence collection and analysis️ Creating detailed forensic reports, presenting findings, and making recommendations to improve security measures
What We’re Looking For:️ Proven experience as a Digital Forensics Specialist or in a similar role️ Strong knowledge of forensic tools and techniques for data recovery, analysis, and evidence preservation (e.g., EnCase, FTK, X1, Sleuth Kit)️ Experience with file systems, operating systems, and network protocols in relation to digital forensics️ Understanding of legal and regulatory requirements around data privacy, evidence handling, and chain of custody️ Certifications such as CHFI, EnCE, or GIAC are highly desirable
