About the Role We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Residential Care Worker to support children and young people within a nurturing and therapeutic home environment. You will play a key role in leading shifts, supporting staff, and delivering high-quality care that promotes positive outcomes for young people.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead shifts and support the day-to-day running of the home
- Provide safe, nurturing, and therapeutic care to young people
- Support children with EBD to manage behaviours and build resilience
- Act as a positive role model and build meaningful relationships
- Contribute to care planning, reviews, and safeguarding practices
- Work collaboratively with professionals, families, and the wider team
- Ensure compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations & safeguarding standards

- Level 3 Diploma in Children & Young People’s Workforce (essential)
- Experience working in children’s residential care
- Experience supporting young people with EBD
- Ability to lead shifts and support junior staff
- Strong safeguarding knowledge
