Programme Manager (Data Science, Statistics & Research) Permanent £62k-£66k (plus PRP* – currently under review) At the heart of the Northern Ireland community, CCEA plays a vital role in developing the school curriculum, regulating qualifications, and delivering examinations and assessments that impact thousands of learners every year. We are seeking a driven and highly skilled professional to lead the statistical and data science delivery underpinning our qualifications and assessments. This is a pivotal role, ensuring that award outcomes are robust, fair, and grounded in rigorous analysis. You will take responsibility for managing statistical outputs associated with the awarding and assessment processes, including the development and quality assurance of statistical methods for awarding. Working closely with colleagues and other awarding bodies across the UK, you will help maintain year-on-year standards and ensure alignment across jurisdictions. As a key expert in the organisation, you will provide authoritative advice to staff, Council, management and awarding committees and play a critical role in awarding qualifications and assessments. You will also lead on CCEA research including longitudinal studies to monitor and maintain standards over time, while overseeing a programme of research to support continuous improvement and innovation in education.
