The Audit & Risk Recruitment has been mandated to a top 10 firm to recruit for a Senior Internal Auditor to join their Birmingham team. This is a new opportunity due to growth and expansion of the risk assurance service line within the firm. In this role you will report to the respective Manager/Senior Manager and have responsibility over junior members of the team.
As an Assistant Manager, you will get exposure to full cycle of audits, working end-to-end with supervision where necessary. You will develop and grow your responsibilities and have the chance to lead junior members of the team. This role is within the public sector and you will get exposure across the range such as NHS, local authorities, central government, housing, education.
To be considered for this opportunity you will need:
- An ACA/ACCA/CIA qualification or be working towards one
- At least 4 years of internal audit/risk management experience
- Demonstrable experience of managing a team in a large commercial organisation or/and a professional services firm
- Experience in conducting performance reviews and appraisals for junior members of staff
- Experience of managing multiple clients simultaneously
