Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and driven Regional Sales Manager to lead and develop a high-performing field sales team within the surgical orthopaedics space. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for delivering sales growth, building strong clinical relationships, and ensuring excellence across the region covering Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, North London, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Northamptonshire.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of field-based sales representatives across the region
  • Drive sales performance against targets within the orthopaedic surgical portfolio
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with surgeons, clinical teams, and key stakeholders
  • Develop and execute regional business plans aligned with company strategy
  • Provide hands-on support in the field, including joint visits and key account management
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and identify growth opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards
  • Recruit, onboard, and retain top sales talent

Requirements

  • Proven experience in surgical sales, ideally within orthopaedics
  • Demonstrable success in managing and leading a field-based sales team
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering sales growth
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and leadership skills
  • Ability to influence and build credibility with senior clinical stakeholders
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on, results-driven approach
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively within the region
