Software Engineer

This role is for one of the Weekday’s clients. Min Experience: 6 years. Location: London. Job Type: full-time.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and deploy key product features spanning the full stack, including Python, TypeScript, cloud infrastructure, and event‑driven architectures.
• Take ownership of the entire process by collaborating directly with customers to understand their needs, define solutions, and deliver successful outcomes.
• Adapt quickly when necessary, knowing when to build a rapid MVP versus when to invest in scalable, robust foundations.
• Elevate standards by applying best practices in testing, documentation, reliability, and security.

• Solid software engineering fundamentals to design, debug, and deliver dependable systems.
• Proficiency in Python or TypeScript, or demonstrated ability to quickly learn necessary skills.
• Experience developing AI products end‑to‑end, whether at a startup, through side projects, or at scale.
• Comfortable working full‑stack, including frontend, backend, and infrastructure.
• Skilled at engaging with stakeholders to define scope, negotiate requirements, and deliver solutions.
• Proven drive, such as independently launching projects or contributing to open source.
