Cnc Machine Operator

CareerMakers Recruitment are seeking an CNC Milling machinist For our client based in Bradford, BD3.

We are looking for someone with the relevant experience in the following:

• Programming, setting, and operating a range of CNC machines (in particular Doosan VMC)
• Accurately setting machines right first time
• Carrying out self – inspection of work to ensure quality
• Working to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Suggesting and implementing improvements to existing machining techniques
• Maintaining alignment with company core values
• Supporting and mentoring apprentices
• Carrying out any other tasks in line with your skills and experience as needed

Skills:

• Experience working with Siemens or Fanuc controls (Doosan VMC).
• Be able to read from drawings and responsible for the quality of your own work.
• Knowledge of offline programming with Edgecam preferred.
• Experience of working with a variety of materials (including plastics & aluminium & S/S).

Working hours:

Monday – Thursday 08:00 – 16:30

Friday 08:00 – 15:30

Salary: £20 per hour
