What you will do

• Hold and oversee complex safeguarding cases within the Support and Protect framework.
• Provide advanced practice guidance, consultation, and decision‑making support to social workers.
• Undertake statutory assessments, risk analysis, and intervention planning in line with safeguarding legislation.
• Support strategy discussions, Child Protection processes, and multi‑agency decision‑making.
• Chair meetings, contribute to care planning, and support court‑related work where required.
• Promote strengths‑based, child‑centred practice across the service.
• Ensure high‑quality recording, compliance with statutory guidance, and continuous improvement in practice standards.
