Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our dynamic team of radiologists to help deliver a world class service and support our registrar training programme.
Responsibilities
- Work with the existing departmental consultants and demonstrate excellent general emergency and onco‑radiological skills.
- Support delivery of world class expertise and local care, working with the Trust, divisions and directorates to achieve strategic aims and meet objectives.
- Support the delivery of the locum fixed‑term post arising from a departmental sabbatical, underpinning acute medical and surgical services and complex outpatient work.
- Report all aspects of acute and outpatient neuroradiology.
- Collaborate with a multi‑disciplinary team to deliver services in line with performance KPIs and clinical outcome metrics.
- Encounter a complex and comprehensive caseload of patients with varying presentations from a wide range of specialties.
- Work under pressure and be flexible and adaptive to the needs of the patient and the service.
- Provide professional clinical advice to the referring clinicians and hospital management.
- Attend relevant departmental meetings to ensure safe and effective services.
- Champion and lead by example on the values of the Trust, setting an example for colleagues.
Qualifications
- Specialist training in advanced diagnostic Neuroradiology.
- Excellent general emergency and onco‑radiological skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing service demands.
