The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for aField Sales Engineerto join a leading supplier ofindustrial compressors, compressed air systems, vacuum technology, and associated equipment.
This is ahome-based, customer-facing technical sales rolefocused on developing new business, managing key accounts, and providing engineered solutions across manufacturing, engineering, food & beverage, pharmaceutical, and general industry sectors.
You will work closely with service, applications, and internal sales teams to deliverenergy-efficient compressed air solutions, turnkey installations, and long-term service agreements.
Key Responsibilities
Developnew business opportunitiesfor industrialair compressors, dryers, filtration, pipework, and air system solutions
Manage and grow an existing portfolio ofOEM, manufacturing, and engineering customers
Conductsite surveys, air audits, and technical assessmentsto recommend optimal solutions
Preparetechnical quotations, proposals, and tender submissions
Promoteservice contracts, maintenance agreements, and energy-saving upgrades
Achievesales targets, margin objectives, and territory growth plans
Maintain accurate activity usingCRM systems
About You
Proven experience infield sales engineering, technical sales, or business development
Strong knowledge ofcompressed air systems, compressors, pneumatics, vacuum, pumps, or rotating equipment
Ability to sellcapital equipment, service contracts, and engineered solutions
Comfortable working in afield-based, autonomous sales xwzovoh role
Excellentcommunication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Full UK driving licence
Desirable:Experience withenergy efficiency projects, air audits, leak detection, or industrial utilities.
