Service & Breakdown Engineer (Renewable Energy) Location: Mid Devon with UK field-based work Contract: Permanent | Full-time
Renewable & Low-Carbon Energy Systems Salary up to £38,000 base salary with earning potential up to £45,000 with overtime We’re looking for a Service & Breakdown Engineer to support the maintenance and reliability of renewable energy and heating systems across the UK. This is a key role for someone who takes pride in delivering excellent service and helping customers get the most out of their low-carbon technology. You’ll be responsible for the servicing, fault diagnosis, and repair of renewable energy systems, responding to both planned maintenance and reactive breakdowns in a professional and timely manner. Biomass boilers and associated plant District heating and heat networks Low-carbon and renewable heating technologies Mechanical and control system components Carrying out routine servicing and preventative maintenance Completing service reports and documentation accurately Proven experience as a Service, Maintenance, or Breakdown Engineer Background in mechanical, plumbing, heating, or energy systems Comfortable working independently in a field-based role Renewable energy or biomass experience is highly desirable (training can be provided) Company van provided~ Accommodation overnight allowance~30 days holiday increasing to 35 with length of service~ Overtime paid at enhanced rates~ Ongoing training and career development….
