Pre‑Construction Manager – D&B Fit Out

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Pre‑Construction Manager to lead tenders, design development, and early‑stage project planning for fast‑paced D&B fit‑out projects. You’ll shape winning proposals, coordinate design and cost information, and ensure a smooth handover into delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full pre‑construction process from enquiry to contract award
• Lead tender submissions, cost plans, and value‑engineering proposals
• Coordinate design information with internal teams and external consultants
• Engage with clients, present proposals, and clarify project requirements
• Oversee subcontractor pricing and supply chain engagement
• Identify risks, scope gaps, and commercial opportunities
• Prepare detailed handover packs for the delivery team

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in D&B fit‑out (CAT A/B, refurb, interiors)
• Strong understanding of construction methods and building regulations
• Confident reading drawings and coordinating design information
• Excellent commercial awareness and cost‑planning skills
• Strong communication and presentation abilities
• Ability to manage multiple tenders in a fast‑moving environment
