Job Description
We are looking for an Interaction Designer who can work effectively in multidisciplinary, agile teams to deliver excellent results for Version 1’s customers in the public and private sector.
Key responsibilities include designing accessible, usable and inclusive services using tools such as Figma and the GOV.UK prototype kit; collaborating with users and stakeholders to determine the best design solutions; and communicating design decisions effectively.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of design thinking and evidence‑based design.
- Experience in user research, usability testing and accessibility compliance (WCAG 2.2).
- Proficiency in creating and iterating prototypes and evaluating concepts.
- Knowledge of UK public sector service design standards, GDS patterns and GOV.UK design system.
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement and agile teamwork.
