Technical Support Consultant

DEPARTMENT: Maintenance

LOCATION: Leeds, UK.

Role Overview – What’s ‘In-store’?

This role provides technical consultancy through remote and onsite support for Maintenance, IMAC and Projects. You’ll support customers, suppliers, engineers, and internal teams with trainings where required, helping to resolve technical issues across live environments. To note: This role operates on the ‘On Call Rota’ with the other members of the team, occasionally requiring flexible working hours.

What you’ll be doing

  • Providing technical support via phone and onsite to key stakeholders.
  • Assisting with technical investigations and resolving a variety of site issues.
  • Supporting installations, upgrades, and project-based (IMAC) work as part of the Project Teams.
  • Working closely with project and service teams to deliver high‑quality support and customer satisfaction.
  • Contributing to training programmes for engineers, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely action plan documentation for Field Service activity.

What we’re looking for

  • Experience in a helpdesk or technical support role.
  • Strong customer‑facing and communication skills.
  • Good IT literacy and problem‑solving ability.

  • Reporting to: Retail Service & IMAC Manager.
  • Hybrid work model (Leeds office, home working, and occasional field‑based work).
