Overview

Devops engineer required by our client, a leading communications and telecoms business. Based out of Newcastle, the Devops engineer will report directly into the Devops engineering manager.

Responsibilities

• The Devops engineer will work on projects providing IPTV, Video on Demand and broadcasting to the whole UK.
• The Devops engineer will deliver technical solutions through agile projects. The successful applicant will also provide third line support on fault investigations.

Required qualifications

• Linux server or cloud server management skills
• Docker
• Puppet
• Chef
• Ansible
• Elasticsearch

Nice to have

Would be nice to have a degree or Computer science background for this role.
