Salary: £36,000 – £42,000 + benefits

We are currently seeking a Section Engineer to work for a major civil engineering contractor on a newly awarded station build / upgrade project based in London. This position would suit someone with experience as a Section Engineer or an experienced Site Engineer looking to take the next step.

Candidate Profile

• Degree Qualified in Civil Engineering
• Previous Main Contractor experience
• Must be looking for a permanent role
• Previous experience working on rail projects
• Crossrail experience is preferred

Roles and Responsibilities

• Contribution to the safety/environmental/sustainability standards of the works on the relevant sites.
• Management of the Quality and Assurance aspects of the works
• Implementation of the project programme and possession plan
• Supervision and management of staff, operatives and plant (inc Subcontractors)
• Engineering management of the works
• Awareness and contribution to implementation of BS11000 Collaborative Standard.
• WPP & TBS
