We’re working with a prominent accountancy firm that is looking to recruit a Personal Tax Director into its growing Birmingham team. You’ll take responsibility for a portfolio of wealthy entrepreneurial private clients, advising on related income and capital taxation, trusts, domicile and shareholder planning issues. This is very much a client-facing role, requiring excellent communication skills as well as strong tax technical knowledge
You’ll need to be CTA qualified with demonstrable experience in advising HNW entrepreneurs, business owners, wealthy families and ideally non doms. Experience of supervising junior tax advisers is important, along with tax advisory experience (the role involves both ad hoc planning projects and complex compliance). You’ll be keen to develop your skills and knowledge by working with leading partners in a supportive and encouraging environment. Ref 5159

Responsibilities
- Manage and be responsible for a portfolio of wealthy entrepreneurial private clients, advising on income and capital taxation, trusts, domicile and shareholder planning issues.
- Operate in a highly client-facing capacity, demonstrating excellent communication skills and strong tax technical knowledge.
- Lead and contribute to ad hoc planning projects and complex compliance work as part of a growing Birmingham private client tax team.
Qualifications
- CTA qualified with demonstrable experience in advising high net worth entrepreneurs, business owners, wealthy families and ideally non-doms.
- Experience of supervising junior tax advisers is important.
- Strong tax advisory experience and a proactive approach to developing skills and knowledge by working with partners in a supportive environment.
