About Wheldale Heights Located on Wheldon Road in Ferry Fryston, Wheldale Heights has 24 bedrooms across two small, purpose-built units, creating a homely and supportive environment thats more responsive to individual needs. Wheldale Heights is split into two units, the Lynx Unit and the Orion Unit. The Lynx Unit is a male only unit, providing care for complex mental health needs arising from brain injury or neurological diagnosis, such as acquired brain injury or dementia. The Orion Unit provides care for complex mental health needs linked to the early to mid-stage of a neurological diagnosis such as Huntingdon’s disease.
