Job Description:

prosource.it is looking for experienced PMO Analysts to join our growing team. These full‑time, remote roles are key to supporting the successful delivery of a diverse portfolio of projects. They are ideal for individuals who thrive in a structured project environment, bring strong organisational skills, and are passionate about driving consistency, quality, and continuous improvement across project delivery. As part of our PMO community, you will work closely with project managers, stakeholders, and wider delivery teams to provide governance support, accurate reporting, and hands‑on PMO coordination. We’re looking for proactive and adaptable individuals who enjoy engaging with people at all levels and who can help embed best practice across our project landscape.

This is an excellent opportunity for a PMO professional who wants to broaden their experience across project controls, governance, planning, and assurance.

What you’ll do

  • Support the delivery of projects by ensuring adherence to the organisation’s project management framework, tools and standards
  • Ensure all projects follow agreed governance processes, stage gates, and quality expectations
  • Monitor and track resource utilisation, using dashboards, time recording tools and team inputs to provide insight and forecasting
  • Provide effective cost management support, monitoring spend against budgets, raising purchase requisitions, and understanding cost code structures
  • Assist in creating, updating, and maintaining project schedules and plans, working closely with project managers to reflect progress and changes
  • Conduct project assurance and health‑check reviews, identifying risks, issues or gaps in compliance
  • Support project governance activities including change control, risk and issue management, status reporting, and milestone tracking
  • Provide guidance to project managers on project processes, documentation standards, and best practice
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of project processes, templates, and reporting standards
  • Review project documentation for completeness, accuracy, and quality
  • Prepare for and support regular project meetings, including scheduling, producing meeting packs, and taking minutes/actions where required
  • Build strong working relationships with project teams and stakeholders to support smooth and effective delivery

What to bring

  • Proven experience in PMO roles, ideally within an IT, digital, or technology‑led project environment
  • A strong understanding of working within a structured project management framework
  • Practical knowledge of project management tools, methods, and best practice governance
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project; experience with Project Online is beneficial but not essential
  • Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Personable, approachable, and able to build positive relationships across teams
  • A flexible, proactive, and autonomous approach to work — with a genuine “can‑do” attitude
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritise, and ensure deadlines are met
  • Confidence in working both independently and collaboratively within a project delivery team
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, reliable project information
  • A problem‑solver who can identify issues early and help drive resolution

Our competitive salary and benefits package includes Company Pension Scheme, Private Medical & Dental Insurance, Group Income Protection, Group Life Assurance, Cycle to Work and Electric Car Salary Sacrifice Scheme.
